Young Men’s Democratic Clubs were once especially prominent in major American cities such as New York City, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia. However, most of these historic organizations are now either defunct or have evolved or merged into other groups.
There are two other 'Demi' Club's in Pennsylvania: the Young Men's Democratic Association in Reading; and the Young Democratic Club in Clarence, Centre County.
However, no other currently operating clubs with this exact name and social-club model appear to be widely active in the U.S. based on available public information.
The Lycoming County Democratic Committee maintains a representative on the Board of Directors of the Young Men’s Democratic Club. This representative is appointed by the County Chair. The current liaison is former LCDC Chair Joseph O. Smith.
